Welcome

GTL gratefully acknowledges the financial support throughout the years of The Conseil Régional de Lorraine, Metz Metropole, and the Georgia Institute of Technology

A Message from the President

GTL celebrates this year its twentieth anniversary! When I see the transformation of our students as they combine their rigorous Georgia Tech education with a cultural experience of a lifetime, living abroad, discovering Europe or the United States, making lasting international friendships, being challenged with internships or research in a truly global environment, I know we are indeed preparing our students for the 21st century. The Georgia Tech‐Lorraine experience often enables our students to build confidence and develop leadership qualities that will last a lifetime.

Looking back on the remarkable growth of the Georgia-Tech CNRS UMI 2958 over the last four years, it is clear that GTL enables win-win partnerships with industry and research laboratories in France, in Europe and in the USA.

The growth of GTL would not have been possible without the steady support of the Regional Council of Lorraine, Metz-Metropole, and the Georgia Institute of Technology.

In order to build on this foundation of success, Georgia Tech‐Lorraine must have the resources to sustain continued growth, and to provide the people, the ideas, and the technology that will foster global engagement, innovative thinking, and entrepreneurialism. The support of friends and alumni, foundations and corporations, has never been more important. Please join us in celebrating 20 years of success  and the future, as we raise it to new heights.

Sincerely,
Yves H. Berthelot
